MediMabBio has been selected for the 2024 Scale-Up TIPS program by the Korean Ministry of SME (Small and medium-sized enterprises) and Startups. Through this program, the company will receive up to KRW 1.14 billion in research and development funding over the next three years to accelerate the development of treatments for autoimmune diseases.
MediMabBio will focus on developing anti-inflammatory cytokine-antibody fusion proteins using AI-based protein design. MediMabBio, known for its work in immuno-oncology, aims to expand its research scope to include autoimmune diseases through this initiative.

Scale-Up TIPS is a program in which VCs and R&D specialists identify promising small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), make investments, and then recommend them for government support. MediMabBio was selected based on a recommendation from iM Investment Partners.
